Did You Land a Job Thanks to Lambda Chi?
Lambda Chi was filled with many fun memories, and served as the foundation for great friendships that have lasted well beyond graduation. But we know that the Lambda Chi connections have likely led to great job opportunities too. Did you land a job thanks to a career network formed at Lambda Chi? Share your story on the message board.

Also, if you’re looking for a new job or looking to hire, the Lambda Chi brotherhood is a great place to network. You can share your details on the message board, and hopefully find your next career path or great employee.

What's in a (Nick)Name?
Thank you to the brothers who shared stories of their Lambda Chi nicknames.

Alan Steiss '59 a.k.a. "Queeg" wrote: "My nickname at Lambda Chi was Capt. Queeg. I earned that nickname while as Chapter Stewart. Several large pans of Jello were sitting on top of the freezer in the kitchen storeroom, hardening to be served with dinner. Some Brothers tried to lift the freezer lid to get ice cream and spilled the Jello over the top of the freezer. I likened this problem to the "strawberry affair" in the movie The Caine Mutiny, where the Captain conducts an inquiry among the crew of the Caine to determine who stole his strawberries. Thus, the Brothers nicknamed me Capt. Queeg."

A History of Delta Zeta: Reunions
Reunions are a great aspect to being an alumnus. Several reunions have taken place over the decades, including two from the classes of 1978 and 1996. The class of ’78 gathered at the house for a reunion. They were able to see the new improvements to the house since the fire of ’83. Click on the headline to read more.

From the Beginning to the End
Ed Williams '53 Has Unique Experience of Both Building Delta Zeta Chapter House and Saying Goodbye to it 59 Years Later.

Generations of brothers have shared memories and great times at the old Lambda Chi fraternity house on the hill at Bucknell after its creation in the early ‘50s.  While it is doubtless that many of them have made an impact to last generations, few have made as profound of an impact on the Delta Zeta Chapter as the graduating class of 1953.
